Our Team
People who care about good fences – and better outcomes
We’re a proudly family-run Australian manufacturer based in Parkes, NSW. From design to extrusion and field support, our team combines practical farm know-how with manufacturing expertise to deliver permanent electric fencing systems that last.

Duncan Abbey - Managing Director
Since 2015, Duncan (with wife Maria) has been the driving force behind Westonfence™. He brings deep experience across manufacturing and agriculture, with a simple goal: products that make a real difference on the land.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him herding sheep – or rounding up rogue staff and chemical drums bound for recycling into Westonfence droppers.

Maria Abbey - Administration & Operations
Daughter of founder Peter Weston OAM, Maria has watched Westonfence grow from its origins on the family farm near Nymagee. She’s our jack-of-all-trades and master of everything Westonfence – switching from order admin to running the plastics extruder and fine-tuning machinery without missing a beat.
If something needs fixing (or a gentle persuasion), Maria’s on it.

Sam Abbey - Sales & Technical Support
Part of the next generation of the Abbey family, Sam combines hands-on experience with a deep understanding of modern electric fencing. Based in Parkes, NSW, he helps customers choose the right Westonfence™ systems for their property, offering advice on layout, installation, and long-term fence performance.

Anthony Fitzgerald - Sales & Technical Support
Your on-the-ground expert for electric fencing design and troubleshooting, Anthony specialises in exclusion control (wild dogs, deer, pigs and native pressure) across all terrains. Based in Gunnedah, NSW, he supports resellers and farming communities nationally with on-farm advice, fence design, and sales.

Manufacturing Team
Behind every Westonfence system is a hard-working factory crew keeping operations smooth and quality high. Their reliability, safety focus and can-do spirit are baked into every recycled-plastic HDPE dropper and component we make.

Team Westonfence
Maria, Duncan, Anthony (back), Mitch, Matt, Artie, Sam (back), Lana and Andi – dedicated, knowledgeable, and sometimes just a bit cheeky.
